There are some stories which grow old with time and then there are some which simply grow better, simply like old wine.
Double Trouble is one such movie which was getting matured with the passage of time and it is the right time to enjoy it. This short film packed a good number of future stars, even though it was based in Delhi-NCR and not in Mumbai where the film industry is based and where the probability of finding stars in a lot more.
This short film took place in the time when DSLR camera were at horizons and the tape based camera ran the show. In a sense it has a nostalgic feeling of the time when shooting an short film used to be a lot of trouble and also a lot of fun. Now the Indian online space is filled with smart ass comedies which are focused exclusively on engineers and blue collar workers and off shoot from it.
Double Trouble is pure in it's intentions and follows no convention but its own. It has to, after all it precedes the web series revolution by half a decade. Now this short film resuscitates itself as web series. It should give the web series audience their worth for money (in terms of bandwidth) by showcasing the dark humor and the crime genre which has been overlooked by other web series creators.
